COED AGRI: Applications are open

Coed Agri Application Are Open
Did you know that it takes 95 trees to create the 25,000 monthly copies of AgriTrader magazine that are distributed across homes and businesses in Wales and the Border Counties?

While the paper we use is FSC certified, we wanted to take further action to reduce our environmental impact. That’s why we launched our CoedAgri tree planting scheme in January.

Our goal is to send 1,200 native species of trees to our readers each year to help improve local biodiversity, fill unused bits of land, and make a positive difference to the environment. To get your own free trees, simply send us an email at coedagri@agritrader.co.uk with the following details:

  • Full name
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • How many trees you want (anywhere from one to a hundred)
  • Whether you have any preferred species
  • A rough idea of where you’ll plant the trees

All we ask in return is that you share a photo with us after they’ve been planted! We’ll process your application and if it’s successful, send out your trees, tree guards, and a planting guide. Since the trees are bare rooted, they can only be planted between October and April. Due to the overwhelming response to the scheme so far, deliveries up to April are filling up fast. However, if your application is successful but can’t be delivered before the end of this planting season, we’ll put you at the top of the list for deliveries starting in October.

So what are you waiting for? Whether you want to fill a gap in your hedge or create a new boundary with a hundred trees, we’re here to help. Send us a message at coedagri@agritrader.co.uk and join us in making a positive difference to the environment.
