Thanks to the brilliant instruction from Lloyd Davies, everyone in the office now holds a qualification covering injuries, CPR, and correct use of a defibrillator, that – while we hope we’ll never need to use it – could make the difference between life and death if the situation ever arose.
Lloyd was friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and was happy to go over everything in detail to make sure that we all understood each topic before moving on to the next subject. Here’s a little from the man himself:
Fy enw yw Lloyd Davies ac mi rwy’n hyfforddwr Cymorth Cyntaf – ac yn ddiweddar ces i’r pleser o wario’r dydd gyda chriw swyddfa Agri Trader yn eu hyfforddi.
My name is Lloyd Davies, and I recently spent the day with the Agri Trader team running a First Aid course – and I’m pleased to say that each and every one – Dominique, Chris, Elyse, Huw and Damian – all passed and are now all qualified in First Aid. Chris is also now looking at getting a defibrillator for the workplace and the local area.
Workplace safety and first aid is extremely important, and I’d encourage all employers to take it seriously and involve as many staff as possible. This includes the farm environment, where acting swiftly and correctly can make all the difference when accidents and injuries happen. Farmers often work alone and in isolated, remote environments and knowing what to do in those situations is also important. If you’d like to learn how to use a defibrillator confidently, or want to book a First Aid course, do call me on 07481 071671.
